What the sources actually support
- Get help right away for a suspected poisoning and do not wait for symptoms: 1-800-222-1222 in the US, or poison.org online.[2]
- The specialist needs the size of the full container, even if it was not full.[2]
- If it was swallowed, do not induce vomiting.[1]
- FDA's briefing for the July 23-24, 2026 advisory committee found insufficient clinical safety information to characterize BPC-157's safety profile.[3]
- FDA's adverse-event database search through December 4, 2025 found three reports, all with injectable BPC-157.[3]
- FDA said no-adverse-effect levels from intramuscular studies in rats and dogs cannot be used to estimate them for oral, rectal, subcutaneous or nasal use.[3]
