Trulicity late-dose card and log

The label's timing rules
- Missed a dose and your next one is at least 3 days (72 hours) away: take it as soon as possible, then keep your usual weekly day.[1]
- Less than 3 days left before the next dose: skip the missed one and inject on your regular day.[1]
- You may switch to a different weekly day if your last dose was 3 or more days before the new day.[1]
- Any time of day is fine, with or without food.[1]
- A pen may be kept out of the fridge, not above 86°F (30°C), for a total of 14 days. A pen that has been frozen should not be used.[1]
- If you also take a sulfonylurea or insulin, your chance of low blood sugar may be higher.[1]
Late or skipped injections
One line per event. Count days to the next scheduled dose before you decide.

Do not wait for your next dose day
- Took too much Trulicity: call your healthcare provider or the Poison Helpline at 1-800-222-1222, or go to the nearest hospital emergency room right away.[1]
- Severe pain in your stomach area that will not go away, with or without nausea or vomiting: stop Trulicity and call your healthcare provider right away.[1]
Ask your prescriber or pharmacist
- I missed two or more weekly doses in a row. What dose do I restart at, and when?
- Would a different injection day be easier for me to keep?
- Do my sulfonylurea or insulin doses need adjusting when I skip a week?
- My pen was left somewhere warm or may have frozen. Can I still use it?
