What the Rybelsus label says
- One tablet a day, never more.[1]
- Took too much: the Medication Guide says to call your healthcare provider or the Poison Help line (1-800-222-1222), or to go to the nearest emergency room right away.[1]
- Overdose care is supportive and follows symptoms; observation may be prolonged because semaglutide's half-life is about 1 week.[1]
- Insulin or a sulfonylurea raises the risk of low blood sugar, including severe low blood sugar.[1]
- Rybelsus and Ozempic tablets are not interchangeable mg for mg.[1]
- A missed tablet is skipped; the next one is taken the following day.[1]

Get emergency help for
- Signs of low blood sugar such as shakiness, sweating, confusion or a fast heartbeat, especially with insulin or a sulfonylurea.[1]
- Severe stomach pain that will not go away, with or without vomiting.[1]
- Vomiting or diarrhea that keeps going: fluid loss can cause kidney problems.[1]
